Usage of concrete mixing and conveying truck

There are two ways to transport concrete using concrete mixer trucks:
(1) When the transportation distance is less than 10km, the mixed concrete is loaded into the mixing drum. During transportation, the mixing drum continuously rotates at low speed, so that the concrete will not produce layering, segregation, or early setting in the box, ensuring that the concrete mixture is uniform when unloaded from the construction site. This method actually uses concrete mixer trucks as specialized transportation vehicles for concrete.
(2) When the transportation distance is greater than 10km, in order to reduce energy consumption and mechanical wear, the concrete dry mix prepared by the mixing plant according to the mixing ratio requirements can be directly loaded into the mixing drum. Mixing water is injected into the water tank. When the vehicle reaches the pouring site 15-20 minutes before travel, the mixer is started to quantitatively inject the water in the water tank into the mixing device for mixing. During transportation and mixing, the mixed concrete is discharged at the pouring site.
